Using PharmaCompare
Terms and Conditions
Last updated: October 25, 2026
These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the PharmaCompare patient application, Pharmacompare Driver application, website, and related services jointly operated by Durrell & Clifford and Maxwell Technologies PLC.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account, submitting a request, placing an order, booking a service, or otherwise using PharmaCompare, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
2. Who may use PharmaCompare
You must have legal capacity to enter into these Terms. Where a service is requested for a minor or another person, you confirm that you are authorized to act for that person and to provide the necessary information. Some medicines and healthcare services may have additional eligibility, prescription, consent, identity, or age requirements.
Pharmacompare Driver is for approved independent drivers carrying out delivery and laboratory-collection assignments. Drivers must provide accurate contact, vehicle, license, and receiving-account information and keep it up to date. Platform approval is not a substitute for any license, training, insurance, or other authorization required for the activity. A separate driver or provider agreement and mandatory legal rights continue to apply where relevant.
3. What the platform provides
PharmaCompare helps users locate and interact with participating pharmacies, doctors, laboratories, insurers, payment providers, and delivery services. Features may include medicine ordering, prescription submission, store pickup, delivery, consultation booking, laboratory services, payments, messaging, and service-status notifications.
Pharmacompare Driver supports assignment acceptance, pickup and handover coordination, navigation, active-job tracking, messaging, handover verification, job history, and earnings information. Patient-app features such as consultations, prescription scanning, and AI chat are not driver-app services.
Healthcare, dispensing, laboratory, insurance, payment, and delivery services may be performed by participating third parties. Those providers remain responsible for the professional or regulated services they perform and may apply additional lawful terms disclosed to you.
Read our Medical Disclaimer before using health-related features.
4. Accounts and security
- Provide accurate, current, and complete registration and service information.
- Keep passwords, verification codes, and account access confidential.
- Do not allow another person to impersonate you or misuse your account.
- Notify support promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
You are responsible for activity performed through your account to the extent permitted by law. We may ask for identity or contact verification before processing sensitive requests.
5. Medicines and prescriptions
Medicine availability, pricing, substitution, prescription validity, dispensing, and counseling are subject to review by the participating pharmacy and applicable law. A pharmacy may request an original or clearer prescription, contact the prescriber, decline an order, or require collection by an authorized person.
Do not use another person's prescription or submit altered, fraudulent, expired, or misleading medical documentation. Product images and descriptions are informational; packaging and appearance may vary.
6. Consultations and laboratory services
Appointment times are estimates and may change because of provider availability, emergencies, connectivity, or other operational conditions. Clinical decisions, diagnoses, prescriptions, referrals, test collection, and interpretation remain the responsibility of the qualified professional providing the service.
Video consultations may use Google Meet or another disclosed communication provider. You are responsible for a compatible device, internet connection, a private environment, and joining with the invited account when required. Do not record a consultation without all required consent.
7. Orders, pickup, delivery, and collection
An order or booking is not final until confirmed by the responsible backend service and relevant provider. Store Pickup users are responsible for following collection instructions and presenting any required proof. Delivery and home-collection estimates may change because of traffic, weather, provider readiness, address accuracy, user availability, or events outside reasonable control.
You must provide a reachable telephone number, accurate destination, and safe access instructions. Live tracking, where available, is an operational aid and may be delayed or temporarily unavailable.
Driver assignment responsibilities
- Accept only assignments you can perform safely and follow the participating pharmacy or laboratory's handling instructions.
- Keep packages and sample containers secure; do not open, alter, substitute, or tamper with their contents.
- Observe applicable road-safety requirements. Do not operate the app in a way that makes driving unsafe.
- Use patient names, addresses, telephone numbers, and assignment details only to perform the assigned service; do not publish or reuse them.
- Record assignment status honestly and complete required package-photo and handover-code steps before confirming a handover.
- Obtain codes from the relevant patient or laboratory at the appropriate handover; never fabricate codes or proof photos.
- Report unavailable recipients, damaged packages, missing verification codes, unsafe conditions, or failed handovers to support rather than falsely completing a job.
For laboratory assignments, transporting kits or collecting prepared sample containers for return to a laboratory does not authorize a driver to draw blood, perform a clinical sampling procedure, interpret results, or provide medical advice. Clinical procedures require an appropriately qualified and authorized professional. If the job would require activity beyond your authorization, stop and contact the responsible laboratory or support.
8. Prices and payments
Prices, service fees, delivery charges, and applicable taxes are shown or communicated before confirmation where practicable. You authorize the selected payment provider to process the displayed amount. A payment is considered confirmed only when the responsible backend or payment provider records it as successful.
Do not repeatedly initiate payment while a transaction is pending. If a payment is interrupted, use the recovery instructions or contact support so the transaction can be reconciled before another payment is created. Your mobile-money, bank, or payment provider may apply its own terms and charges.
Driver earnings and payout questions
Assignment fees, recorded earnings, and payout status are distinct: an earnings entry is not proof that funds have reached a receiving account. Payouts require the relevant job and payment checks and an approved receiving account. These Terms do not promise immediate or automatic payment. Applicable payout timing and any fees or deductions must be communicated separately. If an amount, deduction, destination, or payment status appears incorrect, contact support with the assignment and payout references. Do not create a second account or another transfer request to bypass a pending payment or reconciliation.
9. Cancellations, refunds, and failed services
Cancellation and refund eligibility depends on the service stage, provider commitments, medicines already dispensed, samples already collected, professional time already provided, payment-provider rules, and applicable law. Any specific terms displayed during checkout or communicated for the service form part of these Terms.
Contact support@pharmacompare.cm with the relevant order, appointment, laboratory request, or payment reference. Do not send a password or payment PIN.
10. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Use PharmaCompare unlawfully, fraudulently, or to obtain controlled or restricted products improperly.
- Submit false identities, prescriptions, payment evidence, addresses, reviews, or service information.
- Harass, threaten, discriminate against, or endanger users, providers, or delivery personnel.
- Use assignment contact details or messaging for unrelated marketing, harassment, or disclosure of another person's private information.
- Attempt to bypass security, access another account, scrape data, or disrupt the platform.
- Copy, reverse engineer, or exploit the platform except where applicable law expressly permits it.
11. Privacy and communications
Our Privacy Policy explains how personal and health information is handled. You agree to receive operational communications needed to provide requested services, such as verification, payment, appointment, order, safety, and delivery updates. You can control optional notifications through available account or device settings.
Drivers must respect the confidentiality of messages and assignment information. Use available report and block controls for unwanted contact, and contact support if blocking affects an active handover. Active-job background location is explained in the Privacy Policy and the driver's in-app disclosure; these Terms do not replace required device permissions or consent.
12. Intellectual property
PharmaCompare and its software, branding, interfaces, and original content are owned by or licensed to Durrell & Clifford, Maxwell Technologies PLC, or their respective licensors, as applicable. These Terms give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to use the platform for its intended purpose. Provider names and third-party services remain the property of their respective owners.
13. Availability and warranties
We work to keep PharmaCompare accurate, secure, and available, but services may be interrupted, delayed, or changed. To the extent permitted by law, the platform is provided on an "as available" basis without a guarantee that every provider, medicine, appointment, route, price, or feature will always be available or error-free. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
14. Limitation of responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, Durrell & Clifford and Maxwell Technologies PLC are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from unavailable services, third-party conduct, inaccurate information supplied by a user or provider, or events outside reasonable control. We do not exclude responsibility for fraud, willful misconduct, or any liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude or limit.
15. Suspension, termination, and deletion
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, protect safety, comply with law, address serious or repeated breaches, or secure the platform. You may stop using PharmaCompare and request account deletion through our Account Deletion page. Legal retention requirements may continue after account closure.
Drivers can also use Settings > Delete Account in Pharmacompare Driver. Active jobs may need completion or reassignment and pending payouts may need resolution; support remains available to initiate a deletion request without access to the app. Driver profile deletion and retained historical assignment or financial records are explained on the Account Deletion page and in the Privacy Policy.
16. Changes to services or terms
We may update the platform and these Terms as services, providers, risks, or legal requirements change. The current version and last-updated date will remain available on this page. We will provide additional notice when a material change requires it. Continued use after an effective update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
17. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in Cameroon, without removing any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you. Please contact support first so we can try to resolve a concern promptly. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it may be submitted to the competent courts or authorities in accordance with applicable law.
